Rachel Stenson

Rachel Stenson (b. 1957) has been a vocal music instructor at St. Mary’s International School, a 950 student all-boys school in Tokyo, Japan for over twenty years, where she teaches elementary general music classes as well as the high school music international baccalaureate course and composition classes. Her elementary choirs perform at charity events and festivals in the Tokyo area. Rachel is also the accompanist for the St. Mary’s Varsity Ensemble, Men’s Choir, and International Show Choir, and has written or arranged many pieces for these award winning groups. The St. Mary’s Varsity Ensemble has participated in the 2004 NW division ACDA Convention, 2005 National ACDA Convention, and the 2006 Central ACDA Convention. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
